In the rapidly evolving landscape of healthcare, understanding the unmet needs of users—patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers—is crucial for innovation. By actively listening to their experiences, challenges, and desires, I helped to identify gaps in current solutions and foster the development of tailored interventions that enhance patient care and outcomes. In clinical settings, this dialogue not only informs product design but also builds trust and empowers users, ensuring that innovations are both relevant and impactful. As a Master’s student in the MedTech Innovation & Entrepreneurship Program, I gained valuable clinical insights through hospital shadowing experiences in Raleigh. By directly engaging with healthcare professionals, I identified critical unmet clinical needs and translated them into actionable project initiatives,
